At Winterfell Care Home, we are committed to supporting each person to live a meaningful, fulfilling, and independent life in a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment. Our home provides residential care for up to 41 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities, mental health needs, or other support requirements. We work closely with each person, their families, and relevant professionals to ensure care is personalised, respectful, and focused on promoting wellbeing, dignity, choice, and independence.

We understand the importance of maintaining relationships, friendships, and a sense of belonging. We encourage people to remain connected to their families, communities, interests, and hobbies, while creating opportunities for meaningful social interaction within the home. Positive relationships between people living at Winterfell and our staff are at the heart of everything we do.

We believe that every person should be supported to achieve their goals and continue developing their skills and interests, regardless of age or ability. We focus on what people can do, celebrating achievements and supporting individuals to make choices about their own lives.
