About Us
Aventus Care provides compassionate, reliable and person-centred domiciliary care and support to people living in their own homes across Northampton and surrounding areas.
We understand that choosing care for yourself or a loved one is an important decision. Our aim is to provide high-quality support that helps people remain safe, comfortable and independent in the familiar surroundings of their own home.
Every person is different, so we tailor our care around the individual. We take time to understand each person's needs, preferences, daily routines, abilities and personal goals before agreeing how their support will be provided.
Our services can include personal care such as support with washing, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene and continence care. Our carers provide this support sensitively and respectfully, always protecting the person's privacy and dignity.
We can also assist with everyday activities including getting in and out of bed, mobility around the home, preparing meals and drinks, shopping, light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment.
Where required, our trained care staff can provide medication support in accordance with the individual's assessed needs and agreed care plan. This can include prompting, assisting or administering medication at the appropriate times.
Aventus Care also provides companionship and social support. We recognise that emotional and social wellbeing are just as important as physical care. Our carers can spend time talking with individuals, sharing activities and providing reassurance and companionship.
We can support people to remain active within their local community, including assistance with shopping, attending appointments, visiting family and friends, taking part in hobbies and accessing social or community activities.
Our service can support adults with a range of different needs, including older people, people with physical or sensory disabilities, people with learning disabilities, people with autism and individuals who may require additional support to maintain their independence.
We work closely with the people receiving our services, their families and, where appropriate, other health and social care professionals. Care plans are regularly reviewed so that the support provided continues to reflect the person's changing needs, wishes and desired outcomes.
Our Care Can Include:
• Personal care and hygiene support
• Dressing and grooming
• Continence support
• Medication support
• Meal preparation and nutrition
• Mobility and moving support
• Companionship and social support
• Shopping and household assistance
• Support attending appointments
• Community access and activities
• Learning disability support
• Autism support
• Physical and sensory disability support
• Support with maintaining daily routines
• Promoting independence and life skills
• Support for families and informal carers
At Aventus Care, we believe good care should promote independence rather than take it away. Wherever possible, we encourage the people we support to make their own choices and remain involved in the activities they can safely manage themselves.
Our goal is to provide dependable, respectful and compassionate care that gives individuals and their families confidence and peace of mind.
Whether someone requires help with everyday activities, personal care, companionship or more regular support, Aventus Care works with each individual to provide a flexible service centred around what matters most to them.
