Welcome to Abuv & Beyond Care Home – where quality care meets a place that truly feels like home.
At Abuv & Beyond, we believe that choosing a care home should never mean giving up the comfort, warmth and familiarity of home. Our beautifully presented, family-run six-bed care home in Heckmondwike has been thoughtfully designed to provide a peaceful, welcoming environment where residents feel safe, valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Every bedroom is finished to a high standard, with bright, comfortable living spaces, attractive gardens and home-cooked meals enjoyed together in a relaxed setting. Rather than feeling clinical or institutional, our home offers a warm and friendly atmosphere where residents can enjoy companionship while maintaining their independence and dignity.
As a smaller home, we are able to provide truly personalised care. We take the time to get to know every resident, understand what matters to them and tailor our support to meet their individual needs, preferences and routines. Whether someone joins us for respite, recovery after a hospital stay or long-term residential care, they become part of our extended family.
Our current CQC rating relates to an inspection carried out in 2022. Since then, we have made significant improvements across every area of our service, including leadership, governance, staff training, quality assurance, care planning and day-to-day operations. These improvements have become embedded in how we work every day.
