About Us

Bluebird Care Cheshire East is a locally led, CQC Outstanding-rated home care provider supporting people to live safely, independently and comfortably in their own homes across Cheshire East and the surrounding areas.

Based in Crewe, our team provides personalised care across Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Alsager, Congleton, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel and surrounding towns and villages. We support adults, older people, people living with dementia and other long-term conditions, people with physical and learning disabilities, people requiring complex care, and children and young people with additional needs.

Our approach is simple: care should be built around the individual, not the other way around. We take the time to understand each person's routines, preferences, relationships, interests, abilities and goals, and use this understanding to develop care that supports not only their practical needs but their quality of life.

Our services range from short home care visits and companionship through to more intensive and complex packages, respite care, night care and live-in care. We also provide specialist support for people living with conditions including dementia and Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, acquired brain injury, stroke, physical disabilities and other complex health and care needs. Our children's services support young people with additional needs, including autism, complex health needs, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and behaviours that may challenge.

For people approaching the end of their lives, we provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life care, supporting both the individual and their family to maintain dignity, comfort and choice at what can be an incredibly difficult time.

More than practical care

At Bluebird Care Cheshire East, we recognise that good home care is about far more than completing a list of tasks.

Our Care Experts support customers with personal care, medication, nutrition, mobility, household tasks, shopping, appointments, companionship and maintaining everyday routines. But equally important is the relationship between the customer and the person supporting them.

We aim to help people continue doing the things that matter to them — remaining connected with family and friends, enjoying their home and hobbies, maintaining their independence and making their own choices wherever possible.

Our focus is not simply on delivering a scheduled visit. We work closely with customers, families and other professionals involved in their care to respond when circumstances change and to make sure support continues to reflect the person's needs.

Families have described the care as exceptional, compassionate and respectful, including support for people living with advanced dementia and people receiving end-of-life care.
